Henry Liebwein
I was born in 2011 in Melbourne, Australia, and grew up in Munich, Germany. That’s where I discovered my passion for golf at an early age – not surprising, since my parents and my brother both play. I first picked up a club when I was four, mostly just for fun. Kicking a football around the fairway and driving the cart were just as important as hitting a few shots.
At Golf Club München-Eichenried, I started training seriously and quickly realized how much I love the game. When I was six, I played my first tournaments, and a year later I got to compete at the U.S. Kids European Championship in Scotland – with my dad as my caddie. It was an unforgettable experience and made me feel how much passion and energy this sport holds.
The 2025 season has been the most successful year of my golf career so far. Among many great tournaments, I became Bavarian Champion and German Champion – an amazing way to finish my time in Germany before my family and I moved to Florida.
Here in the U.S., I was welcomed with open arms and settled in quickly. I’ve already been able to celebrate my first results on American soil. Playing year-round and competing against strong fields here in Florida is exactly what I was hoping for. My goal is to keep improving, gain new experiences, and see how far I can go in this sport.

Runner-up at the SFPGA Brendan Cunningham Junior Open (total -7) 🇺🇸🏆
Another great result at the SFPGA Brendan Cunningham Junior Open at the Rookery at Marco Island (Naples, Florida). With rounds of 68, 74 and 67 (-7) I could climb up the leaderboard in the final round and secure 2nd place.

First win of season at the FJT Ibis Landing Open after 5-hole playoff 🇺🇸🏆
Very proud of my first win in 2026 at the FJT Ibis Landing Open in Lehigh Acres, Florida. With rounds of 71 and 68 (-3), I secured the title with a birdie on the 5th playoff hole after coming back from five shots behind over the final seven holes.

Solid 5th place at my first AJGA Junior All Star tournament 🇺🇸
Had a great time at my first AJGA tournament, the TaylorMade TP5 Junior All Star at Longleaf Golf & Family Club (Pinehurst, North Carolina). Won the qualifier with a round of 68 (-3) and secured 5th place with rounds of 67, 72 and 70 (-4).

Next Runner-up at the FJT Rockledge Open 🇺🇸🏆
Solid 2nd place at the FJT Rockledge Open at the Rockledge Country Club (Rockledge, Florida) with rounds of 73 and 71. Couldn’t play my A-game and wasn’t my favourite course, but fighted until the end and happy to have secured 2nd place.

3rd place at the HJGT 54 Hole Orlando Junior Open 🇺🇸🏆
With rounds of 72, 72 and 71 (-1) I secured 3rd place at the HJGT 54 Hole Orlando Junior Open at Rio Pinar Country Club (Orlando, Florida). On a very tight course and with windy conditions it was great to play 3 consistent rounds in a competitive field of 120 players.

First Runner-up of 2026 at Indian Spring Country Club (Boynton Beach, Florida). Played great golf with rounds of 71, 70 and 73 (-2), but just couldn’t keep up with the winner. Looking forward to the next challenge!

My biggest trophy so far – 1st place at the CJGA World Junior Challenge 🇺🇸🏆
I took 1st place at the CJGA World Junior Challenge at Innisbrook Resort. Four rounds on Copperhead / Island — with Copperhead considered one of the toughest PGA Tour courses. Competing in the U19 category, I came out on top against a strong field.

Two-round tournament at the HJGT Fort Myers Junior Fall Open at Cape Royal Golf Club (Cape Coral, Florida). With rounds of 73 and 74, I secured 1st place in the U18 division – as the youngest player in the field.

At the High School District Championship at Renaissance Golf Club (Fort Myers, Florida), I posted a strong 69 to win the District title. A great moment — and I’m proud to achieve this for my new school.

Runner-up at the West Coast High School Championship – final round of 65! 🇺🇸🔥
With rounds of 70 and 65, I finished at 9-under-par and tied for first at TwinEagles GC – eventually placing second after a playoff. An unforgettable day – and proud to finish ahead of a strong field, including Charlie Woods.

With rounds of 72/72/71, I secured the title at Westfälischer GC Gütersloh. Thank you to my flight partner Timo Issler for the great sportsmanship, to my parents for their support – and of course to Coach Ken Williams, who was by my side on both days!

With an impressive final round of 69 and an overall score of even par, Henry secured the title. He is now the youngest Club Champion in the history of GC München-Eichenried.

During the training camp, I outplayed my coach, Ken Williams, in a round at Club de Golf Los Moriscos – Malaga, Spain, with my best round to date (64) $ $ $.

German Championship (AK14), Germany
DThe top 54 boys in the AK14 category from all over Germany competed in the German Individual Championship at GC Mannheim-Viernheim. In the end, Henry was just two strokes behind the winner and only one stroke behind the two runners-up.

Sensational 4th Place at U.S. Kids World Championship 2023 (U12), USA
Challenging course in North Carolina, USA – Pinehurst No. 8; 35 degrees Celsius / 90% humidity, the best of the best in the 12-year-old age group, 144 participants, with rounds of 71, 71, and 70 (-4) for an amazing tied 4th place!! Incredible week, very proud!!

Bavarian Champion AK12
It was almost a double victory at the Bavarian Championship at GP Rothenburg Schönbronn! Henry brought home two medals: He is the Bavarian Champion in AK12 and won the bronze medal in the AK14 category!

An exciting week in Scotland. Thrilled that my coach, Ken Williams, was my caddy. He taught me a lot about links golf, which helped me perform well. Losing the playoff was tough, but I’m proud and grateful for the experience!
